I teach at the Alternative School Centre. I am very excited to be teaching Social Studies this year, as well as some science and option courses. My hours are 8:30 - 3:30 on day 1 and 8:30 - 2:15 on day 2. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. By phone I can be reached at 403 343-1354 ext. 123
I have a B.Fine Arts in film making from Concordia University in Montreal, a B.Sc. with a combined honours in chemistry and physics from Dalhousie University and a B. Ed. in science and math from Mount St. Vincent University in Halifax. I enjoy current events and watch way too much news.
You never know where your life's path will lead you. In addition to my 20 years of teaching I have been a radio DJ, a filmmaker, a bicycle courier, a waitress, a bartender, an NMR spectroscoper, a computer programmer, a cellist, a high school dropout and a three time university graduate. I have helped students learn pretty much every course available from grade 8 to grade 12. Be open to your own potential. We want to help you get there!
"You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful."
