Q: Where is graduation held?
A: Our graduation ceremony is held in the Red Deer Public Schools Central Services parking lot (4747-53 St).
Q: What kind of ceremony do you have?
A: After picking up their graduation package from the designated location, graduates will drive or walk through the designated course to receive greetings from the staff of Alternative Programs.
Q: What do I wear?
A: Wear whatever makes you comfortable. If you have a special graduation outfit already, please feel comfortable wearing it. If you don't, any school appropriate outfit will suffice.
Q: How many guests can I bring?
A: One carload. Due to social distancing regulations, everyone in your vehicle should be from your household.
Q: What if I don’t pass all of my courses?
A: Education Minister Adriana Lagrange has taken the unprecedented step of guaranteeing all graduands graduation. You will receive a minimum of 50% in each course you were registered in on March 16, 2020 and unassigned credits may be awarded by principals at their discretion.
